Vivian Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science in 1998 at University of California, Irvine. Thereafter, she began working in research lab at University of California, Irvine, school of Medicine, Biochemistry department for a number of years until she decided to go to medical school. She completed a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in the West indies in 2004. From 2005 to 2008, she completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Memorial Health Medical Center, Mercer School of medicine in Savannah, Georgia. Since 2008, Dr. Nguyen has worked as a Hospitalist. From 2008 to 2010, She was a hospitalist at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a hospitalist and assistant site director at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, California. From 2012 to 2022 she has been the medical director of the hospitalist program of Cogent HMG Sound physicians at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California. Currently she is working at Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville as a hospitalist.

Dr. Nguyen enjoys practice medicine because she enjoys speaking and interacting with patients and providing care to them through human interactions.
She also enjoys the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with her patients and provide care for them at all stages of their lives. She is passionate about helping patients maintain their health throughout all of the changes of life from adolescence to adulthood.

Outside of medicine, she also enjoys cooking, hiking, piano and gardening. She is raising her daughter and enjoys family activities with her daughter and husband.
