Won Park

Dr. Park grew up here in San Antonio. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, he went on to St Marys University, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Biology. After doing research for two years at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, he felt that he wanted to pursue his real passion, which was medicine. He went to Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Glendale, Arizona where again he graduated in 2009 with honors. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he served as a chief resident, and then as a residency faculty with the VA Hospital System. He has experience in both inpatient and outpatient medicine, having worked as a hospitalist, and in an internal medicine outpatient clinic. He has a passion for not only treating illness, but preventing illness as well. In his personal time he enjoys photography, working out, and spending time with his family.
